Asphalt Repair & Patching:

1. All areas to be repaired shall be blade cut for a clean, straight edge.

2. The edges of the cut-out area shall be straight and vertical.

3. Any debris shall be hauled off property.

4. A liquid tack coat shall be applied to the vertical edges and overlap the area several inches.

5. Binder base asphalt shall be installed as needed and rolled until sufficient compaction has been achieved.

6. Type F or G asphalt topping shall then be spread over the binder base and overlap the area to insure against water penetration.

7. The topping shall then be rolled until sufficient compaction has been achieved.

8. All edges shall be kept square and feathered at the edges.
